Tie a Knot In Your Rope and Hang On!

It is seemingly hard these days to get through the day, be in a good mood and feel like we are not in despair. With the job losses and unemployment going up everyday, more people losing their homes due to foreclosures and in fact no jobs to found in a lot of the Country...it is depressing. What is more depressing and makes for despire is if you have a job and they start talking about increasing taxes on our earnings when salaries are frozen in some Companies already and net income seems insufficient to elevate our lifestyle. We could go on to mention the losses in our 401k's and many other things, but we will stop here and start being thankful for where we are, what we have and that it could be worse. So we are going to Tie a Knot in Our Rope and Hang On! Okay?

Despair brings in disappointment and then we feel hopeless and want to seclude somewhere away from everybody. This ain't gonna help anybody and especially you or me, if it is us...so we may as well find a rope, tie a knot and hang on.

Let me elaborate on the news of the last few days, I think that this is probably what Tiger Woods is doing tonight...don't you think? Bad behavior, brings bad results and with it comes pain, resentment, bad feelings and anger. It doesn't go away over night just like it didn't start or happen overnight and somebody got hurt. I don't have a lot of sympathy for the parties on the phone (the other woman or women) whichever it was and here is why. We are all adults and we know when we are asking for trouble. There is no excuse good enough to give for this kind of behavior; if he was unhappy in his marriage the right thing to do was tell his wife and try to work through it with her. The sympathical party knew he was not a free man and that most "taken" men, do not leave their first commitment...I said most of the time, sometimes, but not most of the time....unless they live in Hollywood of course. Let me get off this subject and get back to real life here...but these can be the things that get us down when we play with fire! This article is not about Tiger, but I thought it good to throw in the fact that sometimes we cause ourself harm by not thinking about consequencies.

This articles is about surviving hopelessness which causes despair, which can make us feel depressed and lonely, full of fear and we just want to curl up and cover up our head in the dark. Take courage my friend and remember that there is only one solution. Wake up remember that the cross stands for hope; don't despair. A life was given for you and me and it is up to us to stop the defeat thoughts. This defeat is coming from within most of the time and if we lighten up and know that tomorrow is another day, another way and more opportunity. Life is shorter than you think, we must meet our challenges with our head up, our shoulders back with the grace of men and women who know how to fight the bad stuff because we have someone who has already fought the battles in our behalf. We need to find Tie a knot in Our Rope and Hang On.... I want to leave you with this and I hope you can take this with you in pray and hope.

"Sometimes the things that seem to hurt us the most, are the very things that bring out the best in us...They are the stuggles that help us discover the faith we thought we'd lost...the strength we didn't know we had...the courage to let go of the past and begin again....Because challenges help us to see who we really are, where we want to go, and what our lives can be, if only we have faith and keep on trying".
