So Let's Make Money

Okay, as the title suggest: Let's Make Money!!!! I had a visit on one of my Hubs from Angel of Love. I am new to making money with Hubpages so please excuse my ignorance. I actually started 2 months ago with Google/Blogger and have written some GoArticles etc. I have learned a lot and I am trying very hard but it is really a slow process...at least it has been for me. I have written a lot of articles and blogs but the backlinks are the hard part as I don't know that much about this yet and how to get it going quickly. I am not as young as some of you, so I am aware that this might take me a little longer than you young ones but I am probably just as determined as you guys are and I am not a quiter. I work long hours, I write all of my material, and it is important to me that I do good work, at least the best I can, but it is not all about the money either. I love writing also. I am not a pro and do not claim to be but the desire and commitment is there...so I shall succeed. I am sure that I do not know how to optimise my efforts at this point and I realized that I might need to expand my Adsense account to something more. I then decided I would write Hubs and see if the revenue would improve.

In my other writings I have mentioned that success is not all about making money...which is true...not totally. To me this project is about learning something new, keeping my mind busy and believing in myself and this gut feeling that I am going to make this work. I am sure I still do not know all of the rules and yes I have gotten an email with some instructions and I will abide by all the rules but I have been busy and I guess I have missed some of them....not meaning to.

I have experience success in the Mortgage Business and still occassionally do some contract work so this is not just about just being successful, it is about being successful with something totally different that I have no experience in and at my age. I have made good money before so it is still not totally about the money. Yes, I want to make money, this is too much work not to make money and I am certainly not doing this for my health because I am not rich already. This is totally different to mortgage as mortgage was very detailed with many guidelines and regulations. Many agencies and many rules to follow. This is not easy by any means, especially for someone who has never dones this before and it is work for me and I am sure I have a long way to go. Nevertheless, I will not let the fear of what I don't know keep me from trying.

I believe that I need to increase my articles on Hubpages and add some Affiliate accounts to my pages. I need to write quality content which is informative and educational and I will try to increase all of this to Hubpages specifications. As I said, I do not give up easily.

I have also read some of Marisa Wright's page on making money...she is closer to my age, so I can relate to what she has said really well. Yet, I do not dance and there is actually nothing holding me back at this moment. I have basically retired from working a 8 to 5 job and love every minute of not having to get up on rainy days and hit the traffic.

If anyone has anything they wish to share with me, please feel free. I need all of the help I can get and I know I can read some more like I did before I started. I knew nothing about Hubpages then. I hope my efforts become reality in the near future...please comment. Thank you for reading.
