Vision or Mirage

As I began to think about this subject, I really got excited because at this very moment in my life and I hope in your, we have a Vision of where we are headed, how we are going to get there and then the end results...we see in the back of our minds. A Vision is not something that everybody has but for us "positive thinking" people, we could not live without our Vision of what we would like to accomplish. Think about it if you will; for those of us who are working toward something, and have a characteristic of insight, a hope, an imagination; a Vision is pretty simple. We are the type people who know that it takes hard work, dedication, long hours, overlooking criticism and a lot of faith in our own abilities and most of all a Vision to get to where we want to be with the end results. We don't wait for someone to give it to us or think that someone is going to make easy...because they are not...I don't care who they are, this is something we must do ourselves.. and we know it. Right?

Then there are those who does the criticism and they seem to always be complaining about where they are, what they do not have and it is everybody's fault but theirs. You understand these people who haven't yet looked hard enough at their personal development and I do not mean to sound hard, but I am sure you have heard some people who are negative about any and everything. They sometimes are the one who try to discourage us, the one with a Vision and a purpose and they try to tell us that we are delusional, living in a fantasy world and we need to come down from the clouds and be normal...like them. If you are like me, I just kind of laugh it off and keep on trucking, or should I say writing.....and know that my perception about life it different than theirs (thank goodness) and I just happen to believe that if I keep my Vision and work at it, I "will" accomplish my dream---my Vision.

Sometimes it is hard when we have obstacles, it is hard to keep our motivation at a high level. I believe when this happens, we need to take a break, look at our other choices, determine yet again we are on the right path...our motivation will jump start again. When someone else wants to tell you that you are actually working on a mirage...we need to look them in the eye and let them know that what we have is a goal, a plan, an outlook, a point of view different to theirs and they are free to have their opinion but they need to sit back and relax. Since that is all they are going to do anyway...oops...sorry, sounding a little hard again. They need to take their eyes off the negative and let us worry about our course of action; but that our Vision is not a mirage and that one day the reality will be the proof.
